Q: How do I regisiter?
A: Click the "Register" link under "User Options" on the left side of the screen.
Q: I've registered but where is my verification e-mail?
A: If you don't recieve your membership verification e-mail within 30 minutes after registering please send an e-mail to admin@podcastexchange.org.
include your username and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Q: What is this whole "Sponsor" system about and how does it work?
A: A "Sponsorship" at the Podcast Exchange is a mutual agreement between two podcasters to promote or otherwise mention each others show on their own show or website.
This sponsorship is then enforced by each podcaster in whatever terms they agree upon. Whether it's just a plug or a pre-recorded promo the podcasters promote each other.
The main idea is to for each podcast have a semi-permanent set of sponsorships set at a capped amount (the number of "Sponsors Wanted"). Other podcasters looking for sponsors will look for podcasts they find interesting and send a request if that podcast also is accepting sponsors. This way all podcasts are represented equally in that if one already has the number of sponsors they want other podcasters wanting sponsors will only be able to send a request to podcasts also wanting sponsors. This creates a network of podcasters promoting each other and sharing their audience.

Q: Okay, so I'm all set up. How do I add my podcast?
A: While you are logged in click "Add Podcasts" under "User Options" on the left side of the site.
You will then be asked for the information pertaining to the podcast you want to submit.
Q: I've spotted a bug on one of your pages, Is there a way to tell you about it?
Q: I have a really good idea for the site. Can I send it to you?
Q: I can't seem to find an appropriate category for my podcast. Is there a way I can suggest one?
A: Yes! Click here and follow the on screen instructions to submit your bug report, idea, category suggestion, etc. You will recieve a reply within 12 hours.
Q: How do I get the "Sponsors Wanted" button to appear next to my podcast?
A: To get the "Sponsors Wanted" button to show for your podcast follow these steps:
- Click Manage Podcasts under "User Options".
- In the Manage Podcasts screen click "Modify" next to the podcast you want to set up.
- On the "Modify Podcast" screen change the number under "Sponsors Wanted:" to a number higher than 0.
- then click "Modify Podcast"
Q: My podcast has a website, is there any Podcast Exchange.org buttons or links I can put up?
A: Sure! And it's easy as copy and paste. Just follow these steps:
- Click Manage Podcasts under "User Options".
- In the Manage Podcasts screen click "Get Site Codes" next to the podcast you want the codes for.
- You will then be presented with a form.
- Select either a single button link that links to your podcast's Podcast Exchange profile or an automated javascript list of your podcast's current sponsors
- Click the Generate button and use the code under "Copy this code:" on your website
